I know that I like it & I am pretty sure it'd look nice in my condo, but the price seems like a bit much for what it is....the problem is, i've had a really tough time finding a black rectangle table w/ black chairs & that looks somewhat modern. Every black table I find looks like it would fit in some country bumpkins house.

do you think this is worth $699 ( table & 2 chairs ...would only get 2 b/c i have 2 bar stools on my bar, which will be 10 ft away... i dont plan on having family dinners here...it's mostly just to fill a space & possibly eat there from time to time).

That's pretty nice. Do you have carpet or hard floors? I don't remember.

carpet right now, but eventually i will be getting bamboo floors throughout. bamboo is considered "green" now, but i love the look & they are water resistant & there are a lot of positives to them.

i will probably order it this weds @ easton then....they have a crate & barrel there.

^DUDE, bamboo flooring is fucking awesome. It's also great for the environment because it grows so fucking fast.

yeah's it's also EXPENSIVE.... i got an estimate for my place & it ended up being close to 4 grand.... I think I can find it a little cheaper though.

the classic "light" color of bamboo would probably be what i'd go with b/c 1) it's cheaper & 2) I have dark cabinets/black granite counters, so the contrast would be better b/c i doubt i'd be able to find a color that matches my cherry cabinets perfectly..... the contrast is nice.

bamboo floor, if quality, is the best 'wood' floor you can buy

just ordered this at target.com for about $500 bucks less than the crate & barrel one..... target has some nice home stuff for cheap.



me & my buddy went home w/ some girls we met at the bar the other night & they had either this exact table or something similar. looked pretty nice.
