I wish I lived in NYC, or in New York in general.. Love the fast pasted late night city life atmosphere.
I am from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan...

i like a balance. like being in the suburbs but still being close enough to the city to be able to catch a train and get hammered. i'd go crazy living in the city full time. the late night city life in ny is amazing tho, if you havent def. check it out some time.

everything from Ralph Lauren is hundreds (and thousands) of dollars. pottery barn is cheaper, and then ikea is a lot more affordable.

OK so I think I have decided on my colors. Im think a white trim, Grey walls, and Black hardwood floor. I think that makes the store look really sweet. But Now I cant figure out what color the furniture should be? White or Back? Im thinking White because too much black would just make the room look really small. What r ur thoughts?

remember, you're going to sleep there. just keep that in mind. i say that because i'd stay awake and go crazy feeling like i lived in the store. but if you can picture yourself in that then go for it. thats why I chose a more organic (wood and plants) and dimly lit approach, its calmer for me. it just works for me i'm just saying try to picture yourself living in this atmosphere.

It is just impossible to make your room look like A&F beleve me, it is built in such a way that you can't add anything or take anything away form the design. unless you are rich and you can get a designer to make an exact replica of the store.

what color is the ceiling in the store? i don;t recall it being navy.

i think the idea of the palm trees in the room is nice. and a form is cool too!

hmmm, where would one find a form?

my friend has a form and wardrober at her place. but she's no af addict. she's a fashion student so she can't do her homework without the form. as for the wardrober... it saves her space lol. forms run for a few hundred depending on how nice you get them. i'm sure art supply stores or maybe even textile/sewing material shops might carry them. i honestly think a form would look odd in a room though. but hey if thats your cup of tea shoot for the sky

my room is like a sandy color and i have lots of mahogany and bright white accents.. and lots of vintage french posters and b&w photos that I have taken.
my bed is like a big shadowbox headboard thing.. kinda cool i guess.
too messy for pictures at the moment.. haha
