lol a girl I jilted actually works at HCo but I hooked her up with a friend so she’s fine now.

haha well apparently her best friend and a close friend of mine got hired too so they both work next door. i go and bother them before my shift

I just started working at Hco this weekend in Asheville, NC. It's fantastic, my manager's gorgeous. But he's way overworked. Apparently he's the only manager we have and Saturday a DM was supposed to come in from Charlotte and take over, but he never showed up, so he closed down @ 2 o'clock and told everyone to go home. It was still closed yesterday so I didn't get to work!

so he just closed the store at 2pm while every other store in the mall is open still?

that's a big no no...

yea really, he should be fired. You cant just close a retail store like that unless its a real emergency.

store 290 in morgantown, wv. not as fun as it used to be and i def miss working at RUEHL now that i'm back at school.

Which one did you prefer. Ruehl or Hollister and why?

definitely RUEHL b/c the quality of clothes is much better. there's a noticable difference. plus there are only a select few RUEHL stores nationwide and there's a great sense of pride to know you work for such an exclusive store. also, i was a greeter at RUEHL so basically i got paid to stand outside and say hi to everyone that walked in, as opposed to hollister where i actually have to do work. we dont have an overnight crew b/c our morgantown store is so small so when i have to close i really do have to close.

I despise greeting. I'm too hyper to just stand and say "hi"

i got recruited at that store a while ago but had to decline cuz i live about 4 hours away.

i went to my group interview and they told me that they will call you if you got hired and today is the day that they would call me back, but i didn't get the call. Should i call them back to see if i got hired or should i just try again later? ( and they keep telling us that they need lots of impact and they wanted them badly so i was hoping that i would get the job)

go in and ask the manager. we hate phone calls. but yeah greeting is boooring haha. hollister always puts girls at the door so thats all good
