So over the summer I was recruited at RUEHL. But I didnt live close to there, and I figured if I was good enough for RUEHL I could get a job at my local hollister. I applied a few months ago but didnt get it. Now I'm bored because I'm out of school for the summer and was thinking I would go try again. Has anybody else had to go back and try a second time? If yes did it work out? I know they said if we didnt get the model job we could try again for impact but I really dont wanna do that.

Your store could have enough models already, when I got hired last summer my manager said that we were the last people he was gonna hire for awhile but they still held interviews every Tuesday and Friday. Try Abercrombie or a Hollister at a different mall. I applied at Hollister the summer before I got hired and didn't get the job then but then the next year I did, I wore the exact same thing, and I got hired then.

I just applied for a job as a Hollister model on Wednesday and I chose this Monday as my interview date. However, I never got a call or email back so do I just show up at the interview? Where do I go for the interview? How long does the interview usually last?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

AAA's happen when the floor set changes, or if you're a new hire, you get 50% off on some items in a certain color. Your manager will tell you when you have AAA's and there will also be a sheet in the back that tells you what you can get and how long the AAA's last.

Just show up when you said you were going to, you can interview without even filling out an application, managers don't really know (or care) who's supposed to be interviewing on a certain day. Just go to the store and sit in the lounge and the manager will come gt you. The interview length depends on how many people are there so it could be 5 minutes or 30 minutes

^ How can they even hear each other during the interview? Do they pull the couches closer together or something?

What's up with the link on the website that says to mail in your resume?

Quote:
We are always looking for hard working people to join us. For details about store employment as well as home office job opportunities, please visit the career site.

EMAIL RESUMES TO
jobs@hollisterco.com
(please specify position that you're
applying for in the subject line)
Rather than go in apply I just decided to send in my resume anyways, just in case. Need a job super soon for school. Any chance this would work or should I try another method? Apply in store? Talk to a manager? Walk in and hope I get recruited?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i think this is more for "serious" jobs such as managers and HO jobs .. for sale you most likely will have to go apply in store

^ if you go into the store and get recruited, they should give you a paper about how to go online and apply; but we really are only supposed to give that paper to people we recruit. on the right side of the cashwrap is a kiosk where you can apply in store, it's just kind of a long process filling it out in the store since it asks for a good amount of information - but going into the store and filling it out at the kiosk would be the best bet for anyone who wasn't recruited.

and we always leave the store or bring the people being interviewed into the stockroom for the group interview; it would be impossible to listen to everyone talk in the lounge with the music playing.

oh and i work at hollister #30681 in plattsburgh, new york. we opened last november so i've almost been there a year now, but i worked at abercrombie for 3 years prior to working at this hollister.

Just went to orientation today as Impact in Provo. It wasn't my first choice of a job by far, seeing as I haven't been paid anywhere south of 9.50 an hour for the last 4 years. Plus I don't ever wear Hollister anymore, mostly just A&F among other things. But hey, a job's a job and I needed one badly.

haha when i went for my group interview, they did the interview in the store. it didnt really bother me though since only the manager could hear me answering questions and no one else could really here my answers in the group. lol
