Hey has anyone heard that works at Gilly Hicks about a store opening up in Michigan soon. Possibly in Troy or Novi, we have Abercrombie & Fitch, ruehl and everything here, but no Gilly Hicks

I shopped there a few days ago in Illinois and spent $230. on 2 lounge pants, 2 tank tops, 2 t-shirts and 4 undies and 2 lotions and a spray. Im going back in a few days to get a sweat shirt and I pair of shorts I think lol.

Don't work at Gilly, but I haven't heard anything yet about a Gilly Hicks...I know one of my managers is trying to transfer over to the brand, but they haven't yet, so...I know there were rumors of one coming to Partridge Creek but I'm highly doubting it as the mall is outdoors and wouldn't do too much business for A&F. Somerset doesn't have any openings, except where the Disney store is opening so that would be the only possiblity. If anything I'd say there would be one at Twelve Oaks, there's a few places open like where Banana Republic used to be (which is where Aero is right now though so they wouldn't be able to start until the new Aero opens), and then the Disney store and I think there's a few spaces left in the new wing.

They've really got to start opening some around here, AE already as an Aerie at Twelve Oaks and now one is opening up at Genessee Valley.

UHH I know and I hate Aerie its just to me for 11-15 year olds. I like the lace and sexyness of the store. I would think it would be at Sommerset because there is a Tiffanys and everything and its more of the "high class mall".

Also at Tweleve Oaks they opened that whole new addition I think if they were going to put a Gilly Hicks in there they would have with all the new stores. That kinda upset me though about not opening at Partridge Creek, I like like 15 miles from them. But Im kinda glad they didnt for some reason then everyone would be wearing Gilly Hicks around here.

Maybe they'll put one in Lakeside! That would be close for you as well.

Oh my I didnt even think about that. Since there are a lot of outdoor malls that would be cool to. But with the outisde of Gilly being kinda like a porch thing with chairs, maybe that wouldnt work as well. haha But I am crossing my fingers we get one ASAP!!!!!

12 Oaks is having a ton of work done this summer across multiple stores.

Now that I actually need the information, I can't remember everything but....

Club Monaco put up its marketing, and it is HOT, very 2004-2005 Ruehlesque, Aero is having work done on the store that's by the food court, Macy's is still in the process of making itself look as nice as Nordstroms, There's a GIANT blank wall to the right of Hollister where there's plenty of space to put a store like GH into (hint-hint to anf)... Uh, There's a brand new "Aunt Annes" pretzels.

I think that's it but if I remember anything new, I'll be sure to inform.

Update: I heard a rumor from someone at the A&F at Lakeside that Gilly Hicks should be opening there by the end of the year!

I talked to one of my managers and they mentioned a Gilly Hicks being opened at Partridge Creek. But either way Partridge and Lakeside are literally a mile apart. Haha =]

^That rumor better be true, at least we know it's going to be somewhere around there. In all honesty I feel like Partridge Creek isn't such a good idea for it. I mean at the Village in the winter we get no business, then again Partridge Creek is better than us and has heated sidewalks so who knows. Outdoor malls around here are just weird.

Uhhh as far as I know no new stores will be opening in MI by the end of the year.



Nov-March usually there's like no new store openings.

Do you know any stores opening in MI at all in the future?

They'll be everywhere in the future.
