Default A&F music now?

I'm sure I'm behind the curve on this, since I've only been to GH a few times. The first time I was there, the playlist seemed to consist of fun top 40 stuff. When I was there a few weeks ago, they seemed to have switched to A&F-style music. Did I just catch one dance song or is this the new direction?

i don't know what you meant by "top 40" but the last and current playlist consist of oldies and then there are a few dance-type songs mixed in

I don't like the music that they play, it's boring, they should have dance music like A&F

The song that stuck out to me was disco inferno and brick house which were both played while I was there.

Meh, soon GH will be the same thing as hollister and AnF anyway...

victorian=1930s? uh no... hahaha.

I mean does dance music exactly GO WITH a dark, mountain-lodge-esque store such as A&F? Not really...

The music played at Gilly should be a bit more familiar to shoppers than the stuff at A&F, it'd probably add to the comfort and intimacy feeling if they had some of the more mellow/"sexy" top 40 stuff that people feel like they could sing along to. Not saying that they should cut out all of the stuff, but maybe a 20/80 mix of top40/dance would be good.

Top 40 costs too much to get it all licensed, it won't happen more than a song or two here and there.

Gill Hicks story is supposed to be set in the 1939-1940ish era.

And yes, dance music DOES go with a dark DANCE CLUB-esque store like A&F.
We don't do chain stores anymore. And I hardly think 1 moose head and 1 canoe on the ceiling makes it a mountain lodge.

I don't feel like I'm in an exclusive club at all when in A&F. IDK, I guess your marketing just doesn't work on me. Oh and why does it suck ASS this BTS lol? The canoe and moose do sort of give off an aura of lodge to me very much so does chunky sweaters in the winter and the Mt. Washington and whatnot.

I mean if it's supposed to be like a club, where's the strobe lights and raveboys?

GH looks like a redone, nicer Hollister to me, with a much cooler store front.

What is WITH THE MUSIC NOW? I know I'm being very negative with A&F's choices right now but don't take it personally as I know you probably don't have much control over it and I'm not condemning you for it either, but IT FUCKING SUCKS. What happened to the vocal trance shit and REAL dance music?
