I went on the night it opened. BIG mistake. It was crowded as hell.... like main street at Disneyland when they're closing down. I didn't get to see much, but from what I did see, it's awsome. I'm gonna wait another week or two for the crowds to clam down and then I'll check it out at a more relaxed pace.

Oh and since this is the GH thread and all, the GH at the Americana hasn't opened yet. It's all covered up with that picture of the girl and five guys standing in their underwear. I think its opening sometime in June.

I believe GH will be opening on July 11th, but I could be slightly off...our 1st meeting is next Sunday.

FINALLY opening this Saturday the 19th after a slight delay. It's funny but I never thought I would be so tired of looking @ underwear. We are all knee deep in bras! It's coming together though; just a lot of stuff that looks alike initially & then we have to sort it all. Heck, it beats folding 'heavy' denim!!

I walked by it last week after they had removed the covering. It looks really nice from the outside. Now that it's finally open, I might check it out next time I'm at the Americana (even though I can't buy anything).

Are they gonna build one in Pennsylvania ever? Like over in King of Prussia? I went to the one at MOA yesterday and loved it

Where are they going to fit it in freehold?

The only place it could probably fit is where the CVS used to be.
But thats the worst piece of real estate in the mall.
It would end up like Freehold's Ruehl and make very little money.

I'm surprised they have not built a GillyHicks or a Ruehl over there in King of Prussia; I used to work in that mall & the A&F did so well...I'm sure it still does, of course. They would probably put it in the plaza side as opposed to the court side, but who knows.

The waiting list to build a store in that mall is like 5 years long. It is one of the most coveted malls in the US to have a store in.

Five years...wow. I just miss the 'tax' on clothing in PA. Going from 0% to 8.25% is a slap in the face, lol, but you get used to it.

You're probably familiar with other malls nearby in different counties, like Exton mall in Chester County or Springfield in Delaware County. I wonder if they would throw one of the concepts I mentioned into those malls as opposed to the biggie (being KOP).

I doubt they would go for a mall other than KoP based on where all the other Ruehls have been built, especially recently. Only the really high end or expensive malls get Ruehls.

In Freehold, They could open GH in the former Domain that closed downstairs, next to Kirkland's. Or if KB Toys closed like every other 1 of their NJ locals and the luggage place next door they can combine both into Gilly Hicks.
