What stores have been having crazy sales because of the economy?

anf - zip.
aero - pretty good deals if you don't mind that company. ive been seeing some 30% off coupons floating around the malls.
ae - buy somehting, get something half off.
m+o - 30% off sweaters or denim. they send some customers 30% off coupons in the mail as well, so you can get some sicknasty stuff.
RL/rugby - 30% off holiday coupon on their stuff.
nordstrom and macys i also see SALE SALE SALE all over the palce, so i suppose you'll just have to look.

AE's "buy something get something 50% off" has been going on for a long time now; I thought it would end when they introduced the new stuff into stores (ie: when the deal came off the site), but it's still going on. And there was a mailer sent out that had a 20% off entire purchase coupon in it that doesn't expire until December 24th. If you can track one down, it'd be a good time to use it.

I know I still have mine, since I forgot to use it last time I was there, haha.

Old Navy had 50% off outerwear 2 weekends ago.
Club Monaco has been having sales every which is awesome. I got a tie for 12.00 with 40% off last sale price.
All plush at the Disney store is 9.99 too.

Aero is doing friends and family. 30% off, they're pretty easy to come by. H&M ran something last week I think, but it wasn't really advertised. They usually have insane deals in the weeks leading up to christmas, I remember sweaters last year for $4.00. Express is doing 30 bucks off 100, that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm actually wondering that too. I have one of the coupons and it's really contradicting.

This is what is says:

"30% off
excludes markdowns

discount applies to purchase after all discounts have been applied but before applicable taxes. May not be combined with other discount offers."

so...it doesn't apply to discounts, but the discount is taken after the other discounts are taken(which don't exist).

And isn't everything in Aero like normally insanely marked down? doesn't everything stay absurdly high for like a day and then the price is a 1/3 of what it was? Does this mean you get it off the full price, because in that case the 30 is usually less than what it would be with markdown. This is really bothering me.



EDIT: And is really much of a friends and family if it's publicly posted on the site? I mean really, this is just a badly botched sale.

^^never shopped at aero, but that usually means that it cannot be combined with OTHER discounts (i.e. other discount offers is the exact text, so like other coupons and what not).

i don't think in-store markdowns are "other discount offers" but rather a price reduction.

didn't know they had an online code for checkout on the site too. i checked, it applies. so that hoodie i want will only be 42 now

Express had buy one get one 50% off too, I'm not sure if it's ended yet or not.

^ I was in today and didn't see anything about it, but they have a few racks of sweaters and tjs with 10-20 dollars off.
