Default Hmm...What exactly is this?

This guy is a singer in Russia, but I'm wondering what exactly that vest type ordeal he has on is? I really like how everything is put together. Anybody know what it's called?

I wish I could help you with the name of the cut or style. I think vests like that were big in the early 1900's.

Maison Martin Margiela

Ring

Unfortunately that's all I could find for now. None of these look exactly the same as the vest in that picture, though.

The thing is, it cuts so low it almost looks like a variation of the pants marching band uniforms usually come with where the pants have intergrated braces that come up over the shoulders.

Dior did a vest like this. It's called a Gillet vest.

Yeah, it would be used as professional clothing, not casual day to day wear.

spastic_koala - Thanks for finding that. I think that's just the name for the one by Dior though. I can't find "gillet" vests anywhere.
