I have sorta flat feet, and I wear birkenstocks as well as custom made insoles for my shoes. Is it okay to wear my outdoor birkenstocks to go out to the mall or something in the summer? Because, some people say that it looks dumb...

Just kidding but eh, I would wear them if I really didn't care what I was wearing that day (I don't even have a pair but anyway), otherwise I would just wear treads.

I wear them a lot. But everyone in CT works them. Usually I wear them with plaid shorts & a polo.

buy them, they last forever, and are by far the most comfortable shoe you will ever wear, i bought my first pair 5 years ago and i still wear them almost every day... i have 5 pairs of nice treads from ruehl/a&f, but i always opt to wear the birks, no matter how 'ugly' they are.

haha yeah my girlfriend has the taupe color and they look like they have been worn by a homeless guy but she likes them because theyre so broken in.

i have a pair of birkenstocks i dont wear them to much, mostly when im just lounging around but id atleast wear them to the mall. thats not saying too much though since ive worn bananarepublic house shoes out of the house before.
