They're usually pretty lenient with obvious issues that weren't caused by misuse. I've brought in many pairs of jeans with stuck zippers and things with premature holes, etc. and they're usually happy to exchange stuff- and in the cases where they don't stock the item anymore -and I have a receipt showing I paid full price- they'll let me get something else. The times when I don't, they usually just ask if I remember how much I paid, and refund my money.

I have an old meacham zip-up that I want to exchange for a knob lock one, I actually still have the receipt but it's like two years old (Paid full price). Am I out of luck, or do you think they would exchange it? It's in perfect condition.

^^^The whole no buttons thing is kind of a significant oops on A&F's part, I would bring it to them and tell them you took the tags off and went to put them on and realized that there were no buttons, but didn't save the reciept. It's an obvious defect...

this will be at manager's discretion, but as long as you're not too pissy about it i'm sure most managers will swap it out for you. **Note: questions like these solicit opinions from us only. you really should just take these back to the store and test it out there. besides advice (which, i'm sure for whatever problem you're having, the remedy has already been asked/answered), we can't do anything for you here. |

I went by the flagship store at NYC 5th Avenue this weekend. They have a women's blue plaid wool peacoat that I've never seen in any other A&F store or their website. It's very nice IMO. I wanted to post a pic of it but I didn't have a camera handy at the time. I'm thinking of picking this up for my girlfriend. Has anyone else seen it?

OK, here's one from a LONG time ago...
Back in eighth grade I got my first A&F jacket. It was one of those ski jackets from 2000, navy and gold, and had a CD player pocket (good luck finding one of those these days in the world of iPods). I was drinking a red Fruitopia (a drink I really miss!) and spilled it all over the gold part of the jacket. Thankfully it washed out. I was so ticked off at myself for doing it, especially because I did it directly in front of my English teacher. Also, today, I was washing a bunch of polos. I forgot to pop the collar on four of them before I washed them. So now I have to do them over so the collar can be dryed out in the right way to iron properly. When I got my senior pictures taken I wore an A&F sweater. The photographer asked me if I wanted to eighty-six the logo on my final pictures. I told him absolutely not! So my senior pictures have me wearing a sweater from 2002 that says "A+F 92" on it. (I still have that sweater somewhere but haven't worn it for a while). The best one comes from a few years ago. I was on a field trip and the guy in charge doesn't call me Mac, he says "Hey Abercrombie! You're in my way!!!" (I was wearing a bright orange logo tee). I seriously think he forgot my real name. |

No, for the fortieth time, NMI's are not inhabited by Americans, we do not have hardly any economic associations with them at all, thus it is not America. It is a territory. Calling the NMI's America is like calling Puerto Rico America.
