the age requirement has to do with what hours you can legally work. in most states, a 17 year old cant work past 10pm. just work at kids, its virtually the same thing, you can do it at 17, and you get the discount at adult. plus the rules there are usually more lax.

one more thing, you said "slipped them some money".
LMFAO. coming from the guy who wanted to buy some tees a guy just bought for less than what he paid at the mall that day. And i remember u wanted to buy something else, and you offered like $10, when it was worth way more than that. You are the cheapest POS on this forum. Shut up! |

You need proof of age. Period. I don't know how it works in Canada but in the U.S. they will not hire anyone without it because if they find you're under the minimum then they get fined. and for the record, I've never seen an employee less than 5' 6."

I may apply to abercrombie kids in may, but i just want to work 1 shift a week, and get the discount. I can work full-time for the city for like $11/hour, and work there only for the discount BTW, not a lot of places pay more than minimum, unless you've been with that place for a while and have experience |

hmmm...I might as well work at my dad's store...I worked there part-time in the summer, but he only payed me 7 dollars an hour since i am under the legal age, but next summer, he said he'll pay me 2 dollars above whatever the minimum wage will be with hopefully by next year becomess 10 dollars, so 12 bucks an hour. and then the year after that ill work at aKids, and then transfer to anf when im 18...

Ok seriously ruehasa, you talking about getting hired is making me want to jump off a cliff, I would say you should worry about getting hired once you actually apply and have an interview to go to. Until then, it's fruitless to keep talking about it to no end.
