It really is useful, often we have a lot of new members, or even regular posters who make threads for the smallest and often easiest questions to be answered. This way, we can keep the forums clean, and continue to have larger discussion threads, while still answers the needs of those who wish to ask specific questions.

i think it just depends more on your legs. i don't think the waist sizes should be too big of a problem, but i may be wrong. if your legs are more on the average build, then the kilburns will probably fit you better cuz the legs on the remsens are much tighter. and vice versa if you're skinnier.

What do the tiers you talk about for stores mean, and how do I find what my AnF is? What about the test items, are they available for purchase but only in small quantities? are they for next seasons collection?

The Tier means what selection of the current merchandise is available. Higher Tier, more stuff basically. Lower Tier stores may only get basic, essential items to the Floorset, while higher Tier stores get these, as well as more "frivolous" items not essential to the Floorset. Like, EVERY store gets the Red Mt. Washington Jacket, but only some stores get Brown.

And about the test items, you are correct. They "test" items for upcoming seasons to see if they will sell, and only certain stores get them. Any store is eligible to be a Test Store, but I'm not sure how they choose which stores actually become Test Stores.

Thanks a lot, how do I find out what tier my store is, or if they have any test items stocked?

You can simply ask a manager and they will know what tier your store is. Generally, the bigger the store is in terms of square feet and number of rooms, the higher tier it's going to be.

I would think that the stores that get selected for test items would be those that have had outstanding sales numbers over a particular number of months or something like that.

No problem.
Just call the store and ask for a Manager.
They'll be bitchy but they'll tell you.

not sure if this has ever been asked: do stores in the southern US states/any hot climate states get all of the winter items, ex. mount washington jacket, adirondack jackets? To me it doesnt make sense to sell them there...

why bother selling them if its too hot to buy/wear the jackets? I understand that they sell t-shirts in the winter in the nothern US and Canada becuase u can use them for layering, use them in the spring/summer.
