Believe it or not, people do travel to cold weather climates from warmer ones.

Because so that the Company can see it and see if they think you're too ugly.

I live in a Southern state and we get everything. Both colors of Mt. Washington...it gets pretty cold at night during the winter. 50s - 60s in the day right now. 20s - 30s at night.

store items are distributed based on tiers and volume. so location has nothing to do with it. warm locations have cold weather merchandise and vice versa. it keeps the stores uniform. I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones selling jackets in texas

Without trying to sound like an asshole, I'm pretty sure if people are going somewhere cold they BRING a jacket. U wouldnt go to alaska and think to yourself, "holy shit, i'm in alaska, im gonna need a jacket". Usually people would plan ahead before travelling...

I was implying that there are plenty of reasons in which warmer weather climates can still sell jackets. For example, if you lived in Arizona and were planning on traveling to a ski resort in Colorado during the winter, you'd buy a jacket at your local A&F in Arizona in preparation for that trip. Or even if you were buying a gift for your brother that lives in North Dakota, you'd buy the jacket in Arizona and send it to him.

Do you think we'll see any clearance price drops before Christmas? I've been waiting to pick up a Copperas Pond tee and am debating getting one of the Pine Creeks. I would wait and just get them from my store, but we don't carry them, cause we're such a low tier. Right now they're both at $19.90.

Any guesses as to when that'll change?

I doubt there will be any more price drops/markdowns on clearance for men before christmas. I think there has only been one 2nd hit in a long period of time. I'd count on most stuff that's already on clearance to drop after Christmas when all the other seasonal stuff gets marked down. I'd be surprised if they did anything before Christmas. Who knows though, with the spring preview during week 3 in mind, it could happen.

Next week's men's update is (hour wise) quite a bit larger than this weeks. So something must be happening next week. (Before preview)

probably a definite date... its been on the 24th for many years as i far as i know, but a tip seeing as you're from mississauga... DONT go to sherway on boxing day... the lineup to go IN to abercrombie was about an hour last year(they had security guards monitoring traffic), and the lineup to pay was about 30 minutes... do your xmas clearance shopping on the 24th, i definitly will be!
